The interview, conducted by Ramola D for Uptime: A News Magazine, focused upon legal rights for non-human great apes, and the goals of GRASP and IPPL. Dr Shirley McGreal and Linda J. Howard represented the International Primate Protection League. Lee Hall represented GRASP.

Dr McGreal explained the bushmeat trade and illegal trafficking, as well as the Interpol award recently presented to IPPL for their new initiative, Primate Intelligence Agency (PIA). The GRASP site and objectives were reviewed with Lee Hall.
